A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams

Oh Sweet Sadie! is looking for a Draper location. We need a vacant home, at least 3500 square feet (finished), that someone would like 800+ women (and 12 token men) to take a gander at. If you know a real estate agent, or builder that would be interested- have them contact me for more details. (We do clean up after ourselves.)

L is for the way you Look at me, O is for the Only one I see....Times Up!

Congratulations to Hilary for Liking Oh Sweet Sadie Very Entirely! I asked my neighbor's husband to judge this contest because I thought so many were very clever... I could not decide. He emailed me the winner and said, "It never hurts to suck up to the judges." So there you have it.

The contest today is the best acronym for LOVE. Come on all you creative ladies... this can be the most fun you have all day, and the prize is definitely worth the cognitive effort.

THE PRIZE:
1.
Bitsy Blossoms is giving away these little beauties to adorn your little beauty.

2. Jamie Bringhurst, of Studio JK, is an organinzational consultant (the very profession my mother wishes I was interested in) and she is donating both sets of her “Arts & Crafts” labels. They are 4 inch picture labels for children’s arts & crafts. You directly apply the labels to the front of children’s art & craft supply containers for instant recognition! They were specially made for use with children 5 & under. Children in this age bracket typically cannot read, so the use of pictures gives that familiarity to them & allows them to visualize what item belongs in what container. Each set has 6 labels.

3. Nycole Rosen is giving a $10.00 gift certificate to purchase any of the incredible creations at her booth.

4.

Lauri Cox is giving this beautiful pendant- it has a cool iridescent finish.

5. And if all of that is not enough, Logan Hammer, the man who sells fantastic headbands, is willing to part with 2 for the winner of this contest.

The contest closes at midnight tonight! (Hopefully when we are finished setting up and ready to open Friday morning. Yipee!)

Baby Bintz

Carlie Wedel is among the growing group of “Mom Inventors.” After becoming very unsatisfied with the grocery store selection of Binkie Clips, she decided to design her own for daughter, Halle. Carlie had so many compliments and questions from other moms in stores, on planes, and at the park, that she decided to start making them for other moms and babies to enjoy. With much success Carlie launched her designer line of Binkie Clips in 2003 and now sells them and other great products all over the United States to many happy customers.

“The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents.”

That is a great quote from John J. Plomp. Thou Shalt Have No Blog Contests On Sunday.

Therefore, we are going to take a little break and be back for more. exciting. contests. on. Monday! (Maybe even 2 to make up for the recess.)

Pick Me! Pick Me!

Today's contest is an easy one. Everyone who makes a comment is entered into a drawing for this exquisite "Old World" tile to display in your beautiful home!
This 8 X 8 custom tile is Karmel Design's most popular item. Most people love to order more than one...at least one for a gift and one for themselves. This design features the recipient's family name (or any other name of choice) and a monogram. The distressed background features uplifting words such as "Embrace Life, Cherish, Laughter, etc.) These are made of natural travertine stone and are about 1/2 inch thick. Colors are neutral beiges and tans that are typical with natural travertine but actual colors may vary from each tile to tile. These tiles look amazing when featured on a mantle or a piano.
Don't worry if you don't win, Karmel is taking custom orders and will have them ready for pick up at the show!
One post per superstar, and as always the cutoff for entries will be midnight.
