Post Game Wrap Up

We loved the 2 shows this spring! Our vendors were amazing and it was fun to showcase some fantastic new talent - as well as our past favorites. If you have any questions about any of our artisans please email Heidi, and she can get you in contact with whomever you are looking for. If you have any questions about either of the homes that housed Oh Sweet Sadie! please contact our good friends, Rochelle and Amy. We are looking forward to our Fall shows- if you have a great location for us, please email me. Check on us every so often as we will continue to blog about new artisans, locations, random thoughts, etc.

Jot It Down

Congratulations Barb@getupandplay, you are the winner of Bitsy Blossoms litter bag! You can pick out the design you want at the show!

Jot It Down would like to give away one of each of these notepads to someone who can post their most embarrassing 'mother' moment. One of mine is when I was potty training my little guy and he successfully went to the bathroom in an IHOP restroom and then announced repeatedly to everyone there, "I went BIG poo poo in the potty- all by myself!"

Contest closes tonight at midnight and the winner can pick their notepads up at the show tomorrow!

Go Green! or blue or pink or red or floral or polka dot or...

First things first, Sam and Josh are the winner of Lauriann Wakefield's amazing prints. You can pick them up at the registers in Draper this weekend. Now... Tara Thueson of Bitsy Blossoms has created an absolute winner! Her car litter bags were flying out the door at our Herriman Show last weekend. She has been working until her fingers bleed (not on the bags) to be ready for Draper this weekend.

WHAT IS THIS DESIGNED FOR:This bag is designed to hang over your stick shift, across the back of your headrest, or wherever you can think of! This bag is NOT designed to hold drive-thru trash, bottles (recycle those!), cans (recycle those too!), etc. This bag IS designed for all that small trash that tends to clutter up your cup holders and such.

Tara is giving away a litter bag and 3 sets of refill bags! Leave a comment and you will be entered into the drawing- the drawing will take place tomorrow morning at 10:00 am when there will be a new contest posted.

Lauriann Wakefield

First things first- Jennie Stephens is the winner of the Lauri Cox contest! It looks like Lily is the favorite baby name of Oh Sweet Sadie!, email Lauri for more information about the creative workshop you won!

The talented
Lauriann Wakefield is giving away this set of 4x6 prints to today's lucky winner! Lauriann started early being that artistic kid- painting smiles on butterfly drawings, writing her name on everything, and chalking whole towns on her backyard driveway. Her summers were filled with creating puppet shows, scouring 'How to Draw' books, or designing and sewing doll clothes. She studied Illustration at a University and earned her BFA, all while finding her soul mate. But it wasn't until after college and the digital age took hold that she found her true artistic expression in photography.

Yet another reason to shop Oh Sweet Sadie! is graduation. Looking for the perfect gift for the graduate in your life? You will find that perfect 'way to go!' inspirational gift in Draper this weekend. It could be clothes, or jewelry, or an incredible piece of artwork, floral arrangements, a delicious treat, the possibilities are endless. Everyone who shares their best graduation story (preschool, elementary, high school, college, police academy, whatever) will be entered to win the prints. This contest closes Tuesday, May 6th after bedtime (8:00 pm). Good Luck!

Swimsuits and Such

I quickly did the drawing for the other Nick George print of the Savior, and Julia is the winner! Come pick up your print at either show.

I know it was just snowing- but summer is right around the corner! Oh Sweet Sadie! is a HUGE fan of Modbe's swimwear this year- they are beautiful, fit great, modest, and on and on. Check them out!

The show is awesome, the house is beautiful, the weather is amazing, lunch is scrumpcious, there are fresh dipped strawberries that are dipped on the spot- what more could you ask for?

Don't get lost! Bring a map to the show. See you soon!

Soul Unleashed In Me!

One of Oh Sweet Sadie's most loyal and beloved artisans is, Lauri Cox. She is donating our prize for our contest today! I will let her explain in her own words...

"mmm. about me. Well, I’m a self taught mixed media artist and creator of odd whimsical and inspirational décor of home and self! I strive to live my bliss and to mentor and inspire women and girls through my art. I have recently founded Dhanyata Life Center, a life enrichment center, where I am offering my own creative workshops starting in May, see SoulUnleashedInMe.blogspot.com, and where others can rent space out on an hourly basis to offer their own workshops, groups and meetings etc.

I am SO excited about this that I just have decided to just give away 1 creative workshop! They can choose between “For The Teen Queens Soul”, a $35.00 class or “Soul Massage”, a $50.00 class to be used by a July 31st class."

Thank you Lauri! Oakie doakie ladies- another reason to shop Oh Sweet Sadie! starting tomorrow morning is new babies! It is spring and babies (human or otherwise) seem to be everywhere. Oh Sweet Sadie! is stocked with all precious things for any new additions in your life. Leave a comment with your favorite baby name and we will let you vote for the winner! Contest closes tomorrow at 8:00 pm when the show closes for the day.
