Today marks the longest day of the year as well as the first full week that my kidlets are out of school. Hooray! I know that lots of people prefer a free and open summer schedule, but I think we'd get a lot of "nothing" done if we didn't have somewhere to go, so we're packed with lessons, sports, and fun.
Don't forget to take lots of pictures of your family this summer. It has really hit me this year that the older I get, the faster time seems to go by and the faster the kids grow. Soon, all we'll have is memories and photos, so take lots! And not just the big events, but the every day things and little family traditions...jumping on the trampoline, the weekly Saturday walk to the neighborhood bagel shop, painting nails, shooting hoops, shaved ice outings, reading, or any part of your regular or favorite routines. They are the things you'll want physical reminders of.
